~All Things Must Come to an End~

Ok guys,
This will be your last blog of the semester. I want you to rate me, so to speak, on how you think I did this semester teaching in your class. Feel free to be as honest as you can be, because your input matters to me and will help me when I get my own classroom. Discuss your favorite things, and your least favorite things about me being with you this semester.

Also, I want to take this opportunity to tell you all that I have had a blast this semester! You are ALL amazing young adults with bright minds and I am lucky to have been able to meet you all. You all have had a huge impact on my life, and some of you have touched my heart in so many ways. While I know that many of you have grown over the semester, I know I have grown as well. Good luck to you all as you enter high school. Please continue to make healthy decisions, and enjoy your youth as long as you can. I love you all, and will never forget you. :)

~*Poetry*~

I know that all of the information you have recieved on poetry seems overwhelming, however it is great information for you that I wish I would have had before I entered high school. I personally love reading and writing poetry. It is an outlet for me that lets me get my feelings and ideas on paper and turn it into my own "Heart Art." What is your outlook on poetry? Do you enjoy reading it or writing it? Why or why not? You may also upload one of your own original poems if you wish. ENJOY!

I Never Saw Another Butterfly...

While you all were working hard doing your Independent Projects, I was working hard on the "I Never Saw Another Butterfly" video. I noticed that some of you became quite emotional during the video, however, after the video ended, most of you were deadly quiet. Please explain how you felt after watching the video.

Independent Projects

All of you did an amazing job on your Independent Projects which focused on the Holocaust, Anne Frank, or both. I was blown away at how detailed these projects were. It showed a lot of research on your part. I know that many of you learned something from doing this project on your own. It was visually obviously in your projects. Now I want you to discuss what you learned while doing this project and if and how it affected you personally.
